About the author
Debi grew up on the backs of the coastal beaches of Goa, and holds ties to the Eastern and Western shores of the beautiful country of India.
She writes fiction, essays, and poetry.
Her short fiction features in a special climate fiction anthology published by The Hemlock Journal. She has words in Usawa Literary Magazine, Kitaab, Mean Pepper Vine, The Chakkar, FemAsia Magazine, Remington Review, among others.
After eighteen years in the corporate world, she decided to take a break from her 9-to-5 and retrace the long-faded breadcrumbs of her true calling. She began writing poetry again, as she had done in her girlhood, then branched out into fiction.
Debi is currently working on her debut novel. When she’s not writing, she loves to sing and swim, but never both together.
